CRENESSITY^® (crinecerfont) is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for people 4+ years old with classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). CRENESSITY controls androgens, allowing for lower steroid doses. CRENESSITY is used together with steroids.

CRENESSITY was studied in the largest clinical trial program ever for a classic CAH treatment. In the adult and pediatric studies, lowering androgen levels with CRENESSITY enabled reduced steroid doses.

How CRENESSITY works

CRENESSITY is not a steroid and offers a more targeted way to lower androgens. You still need to take steroids with CRENESSITY, but it helps reduce the amount of steroids your body needs, so high doses may no longer be necessary. As you may know, high-dose steroids come with health risks, including obesity, diabetes, and low bone density (osteoporosis).

CRENESSITY can help you or your child meet your treatment goals by improving androgen control, which then allows for lower steroid doses.
