Describe your opinion on what the basic foundation of athleticism would be?
In other words, what is it that you think athletes need to really master in order to progress in their training and in competition?
I'd say body control, first. So that they're balanced and that they know how their body moves in space.
So I would say that's number one. And then, I think you need strength, flexibility, speed, and agility to move in different directions, stop, start.
