Suzanne Goetz

Bio

Suzanne Goetz is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Nursing Honor Society and has a master’s degree in nursing (currently working on her PhD in Nursing).  She is currently an RN Specialist at Good Samaritan Hospital/Catholic Health Iniatives and on faculty for the University of Phoenix nursing program.  She provides direction, research, and clinical expertise for many nursing specialties.  She has practiced inpatient, outpatient, detoxification, eating disorders, chemical dependency, at a migrant farm workers clinic, children, adults, quality, case management, utilization review, research, coding/billing, teaching, risk management, quality assurance, infection control,  orthopedics, and multiple others.  She has over 25 years of nursing experience and belongs to the American nurses Association, the American psychiatric nurses Association, international society of psychiatric mental health nurses, and the Nebraska nurses Association.  Her experience with research includes poster presentations, evidence-based practice processes, collaborative state teams, and member/chair/cochair of the nursing research Council at her facility.  Her commitment to the nursing profession continues to be demonstrated through volunteer service positions and scholarly review committees, expert panels, practice committees, education committees, and research committees.
