Bio
Hi, I am 54 years old, overweight, in horrible shape, and have a host of medical conditions. In April, 2010 I made the decision to stop smoking after 39 years. I stopped cold turkey. Of course, I substituted cigarettes with food and I realized that I was doing that but I felt like I had to tackle one demon at a time. In the end, I gained about 40 lbs. in 6 months. I decided in October I needed to start tackling the weight problem; after all my youngest son would be getting married in March, 2012 and I don't want to look like the goodyear plimp in photographs. I was watching Doctor Oz one day (I am a huge fan of Doctor Oz) and heard about Transformation Nation and the one million dollar prize. I thought "you'll never win" but then I told myself "why not? why can't I be the winner?" so I joined Transformation Nation. Like I've told my family and my friends, Transformation Nation is a win-win situation; you can't lose because in the end even if you don't win the money the only thing you lost was weight which is what it is all about.
