Patricia Novak RN, BSN, MSN has over 27+ years of professional experience in nursing which includes: neonatal, pediatric, obstetrical, community health and five years as a college professor. As an educator I am constantly seeking creative ways to foster a dynamic learning environment and to promote high quality nursing graduates. I am the lead professor for block 3, and my duties include setting up the course each semester, securing clinical sites for 60 students and working with the hospital site coordinators making sure the course objectives are met. I am a member of the Phoenix College scholarship and commencement committee. I work on-call for Scottsdale Healthcare in their community health department, with the major focus on wellness screening for major valley employers, immunization clinics, and health fairs in the Scottsdale community. My professional organizations include AWHONN, National Association of Neonatal Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau, and National League for Nursing.
