Bio

Monica is a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist for 4 Piedmont hospitals in the greater Atlanta area. She develops, implements, and evaluates educational initiatives for hospital staff through a HRSA Comprehensive Geriatric Education Grant. Monica has taught at both graduate and undergraduate levels at the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing at Georgia State University and precepts Clinical Nurse Specialist students. Monica has presented her research locally on Modifiable Cardiovascular Risk factors and presented her poster on Comprehensive Geriatric Education at STTI in Cancun July 2011.
