Mission: Offer high-quality coaching focusing on long-term change and success through evidence-based research.

Philosophy: Talk Doesn’t Cook Rice.

For the novice or beginner exerciser:
Health and fitness is a choice.  The most prevalent chronic diseases (except for those people with a significant genetic trait) are diseases of choice: heart disease, diabetes, obesity. A person has chosen poor habits which has led to the diseased state.  Now, that same person can make a different choice – to take responsibility for their body, their heart, their mind and their life. I do not believe in excuses. If you are ready to make a change, I will work with you to make that change.  If you are ready to make healthy choices rather than talk about making healthy choices, I can help guide you on the right path.

My personal philosophy for myself is to always give 110%.  I have placed last and I have placed first.  I am not genetically gifted and work hard for every accomplishment I have.  I am an athlete who commits to achieving my potential.  I have been just as serious about entering a novice category in a sprint triathlon as I have been about entering a 100 mile mountain bike race.

Come train with me!

As a mountain biker, I have landed at the doctor or ER a few times.  I feel like it is par for the course.  With mountain biking, if I’m not crashing every once in a while, I’m probably not challenging myself enough.  I have broken my wrist, had a severe hamstring tear, grade 3 concussion, shattered clavicle and
