Laura Marthaler has been a certified personal trainer since 2009, through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  She has been involved in sports training and resistance training as an athlete for over 20 years.   Laura is also currently studying nutrition, with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietician.

    Dave, sounds like you have your week planned out. I hope your run/walks go well and you increase your run portion like you've planned. That is great that you have a 5k next month to run in. Sounds like the right time and the right length. I am running Tu/Th/Sat this week. Ankles have been holding up! I've been feeling a little under the weather so I haven't increased my pace, but I am glad to keep getting out there! The weather has been great so I just enjoy being outside and getting in my exercise.
