Julie DuBois, NASM Elite Trainer, RD

Bio

Julie DuBois, RD, LD is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT).  Julie works at Cook Children's Medical Center as a Clinical Pediatric Dietitian. Julie also provides individual and group nutrition consultation and is the Nutrition Challenge Director for Camp Gladiator.  Julie also teaches bootcamps for Camp Gladiator. Julie also regularly speaks to organizations on the topics of sports nutrition, fitness, and wellness and is a regular contributor to Athletic Foodie. In addition to her training and nutrition consultation in person, Julie is also an Elite Trainer on Dr. Oz's Sharecare Network.  She provides virtual training to clients through their online platform.  

Julie completed her undergraduate work at Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Coordinated Dietetics.  A professional ballet dancer, Julie has always been interested in health and fitness. Prior to obtaining her RD and CPT credentials, Julie danced with the Orlando Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, and Texas Dance Theatre.  Julie attended The Harid Conservatory on scholarship for her high school studies.  She trained with the Academy of Dance Arts in Allen, TX and was a member of the Dallas Repertoire Ballet before attending the Harid Conservatory.  

Julie is a two-time recipient of the NFAA Arts Merit award in ballet and also received the Caryn Halperin Schrest Ballet Scholarship and the Texie Waterman Scholarship from the Dance Council.  Julie continues to perform as a guest artist in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She now enjoys a variety of dance classes, Zumba, Pilates, and Camp Gladiator as a means for continuing to be active.
 
Having suffered for several years before being properly diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Julie is passionate about helping people understand living with a gluten free diet but still enjoying life!

Julie enjoys coaching her clients to reach their personal health and fitness goals in a way that is both fun and challenging at the same time!
