Joel Merritt , NASM Elite Trainer

Bio

While stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with the U.S. Army when I was 22 years old, I began experiencing back pain. Though I saw many doctors and went through a myriad of tests, no one could give me a solution to my pain. They seemed more interested in treating the symptoms than finding the cause. This ultimately led me to become a personal trainer. It has been through proper training that I have learned to manage and almost eliminate pain that I had nearly every day for 6 years. My goal as a personal trainer is to help real people meet and exceed their fitness goals. Whether it’s to lose weight, gain muscle, improve health, or minimize pain, I am all about improving quality of life so you don’t miss out on what’s really important.
