Bio

My passion as a health and fitness professional is to help you become the strong, fit person on the outside that you know you are inside.  You give so much of yourself to others. Helping clients find the time to take care of themselves and seeing the transformation and empowerment that occurs is what drives me.  Before you know it, you will feel and look better than you would have imagined!

If you told me 20 years ago that I would be a certified personal trainer who helps people become fit and lose weight, I would have never believed you.  I “yo-yo dieted” through my teens and early adulthood and spent years of praying that I could find a pair of jeans that did not require me to head over to the “women's” department.  After the birth of my second child almost 12 years ago, I took control of my health and decided to finally make the person I am on the outside match the healthy, active person I am inside.  I have never looked back and I love how I feel (and I definitely love being able to wear great clothes and not make choices based on what I can squeeze into). Since then, I have completed numerous triathlons, a half marathon, become a cycling instructor and a personal trainer.

What is the secret to my success?  Truth is, there is no secret.  I simply consumed fewer calories than I burned each day and I lost the weight.  Regular exercise that includes cardio and strength training is key. I wrote down every bite of food that went into my mouth and once the weight was gone, I kept the healthy habits I had formed.  Lo and behold...it worked!

I have seen the tremendous difference that fitness and balanced eating habits have made in my life and in the lives of my clients. I would be honored to help you be successful in your journey towards health and fitness.
