Janet Tsai

Bio

Janet C. Tsai, a Sharecare Expert, is a Clinical Supervisor at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, Initiative for Women with Disabilities (IWD Clinic) and also a Clinic Supervisor at the Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic.  She is on faculty at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in the Acupuncture Department and Bioscience Department.

She has furthered her training and knowledge in Oriental Medicine by studying the traditional techniques of Zheng Gu Tui Na (bone setting) with well-known practitioners in both the United States and Taiwan.  In Taiwan, she studied at the China Medical University Hospital, recognized for Acupuncture and Zheng Gu Tui Na.  She has worked in the departments of Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Neurology. 


Janet is a Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Technique.


She maintains her private practice in New York City, Herban Acupuncture, and has successfully treated patients with a wide range of conditions.  She specializes in Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal therapies, and other modalities such as moxa, cupping, gua sha, and Zheng Gu Tuina massage techniques.
