Heather Rike - NASM Elite Trainer, NASM Elite Trainer

Bio

My name is Heather Rike and I currently hold a certificate as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. With this certificate I was specifically trained to create highly individualized training programs using the Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model that will help anyone reach their fitness goals.

During the past decade, I have been riding and competing in multiple equestrian events at national levels. I have also had years of experience in training horses from start to finish. Throughout all these years, I have realized that there is a lot of physical demand in the equestrian field, which makes true flexibility, strength and conditioning a requirement for optimum performance; therefore I have created and specialized programs for equestrian riders or competitors that help increase:

-Flexibility
-Postural Control
-Core Strength
-Strength Endurance

I have always had an extreme passion for health and fitness. Beyond the physical part of exercise, I believe that fitness is a great way to release your everyday anxieties and also a way to really empower yourself mentally.  My goal as a personal trainer is to really come along side an individual and motivate them to become healthier, stronger, and most of all more confident person.
