Dr. Tricia Moo-Young is the Associate Director of Endocrine Surgery Fellowship and the Director of the Endocrine Research Core at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Dr. Moo-Young has completed specialty training in the treatment of endocrine surgical disease and has advanced certification in surgical techniques such as minimally invasive video-assisted thyroidectomy. Her research interests include the genetics of endocrine disease and ethical treatment in cancer. She is extensively published in the field of translational research and has co-authored texts on adrenal endocrine disease and advances in pancreas cancer treatments. As a humanitarian, Dr. Moo-Young has participated in medical missions, bringing surgical care to third world patients with advanced endocrine disease.
