Dr. Surjit Athwal graduated a Doctor of Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Stanley Medical College in Madras, India. Her first three years of Residency were in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, and North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Athwal completed her Residency in Internal Medicine in Ottawa Civil Hospital in Ottawa, Canada.
