Dr. Spanos is a board certified family medicine doctor in St. George, also providing obstetrics. He practices at Intermountain Healthcare's River Road Family Practice.
Dr. Spanos earned his medical degree from the University of Utah before completing a family medicine residency at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He later served as Medical Director of Glacier Community Health Center in Cut Bank, Montana.
During his residency, Dr. Spanos was a mentor and guest lecturer at Notre Dame and volunteered at neighborhood clinics and skin screenings. He co-founded and directed the Utah Rural Outreach Program, which aims to increase the number of medical professionals in rural areas. He also spent several years on the University of Utah’s Medical Admissions Committee and was named a Pisacano Scholar for his commitment to family medicine and service to the community. Dr. Spanos is board certified in family medicine.
