Bio
Dr. Fieve is Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. He is internationally known as the psychopharmacologist who pioneered the use of lithium in the United States to treat bipolar disorder. He has published close to 300 scientific papers and is the author of the bestselling book Moodswing, on Bipolar I disorder, and the books Prozac, Bipolar II and the recently published Bipolar Breakthrough. He is the Director of the Fieve Depression Center on Fifth Avenue and 76th Street in New York City where he maintains a private practice, a research foundation and a clinical trials site (FCS).
