Robert Faiella

Bio

Dr. Robert A. Faiella is currently the President-Elect of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Faiella received his graduate training in Periodontology as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, as well as a Masters of Medical Science degree from Harvard Medical School. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

Dr. Faiella has lectured nationally and internationally on topics in periodontics and implant surgical techniques, and has published on a variety of issues related to periodontal and implant surgical applications.

Dr. Faiella is a former faculty in post-doctoral periodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and maintains a full-time private practice in Periodontics and Implantology in Osterville and Duxbury, Massachusetts.

He has served on numerous councils and committees on the national, constituent and component levels. He is a Past-President of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and former chair of the ADA Electronic Health Record Workgroup, along with various other committee and liaison assignments.
