Bio
After earning his medical degree at the University of Utah, Dr. Davis completed a residency in internal medicine and another in pediatrics at University of Iowa hospitals in Iowa City. He completed a research fellowship in general pediatrics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, obtaining a master’s degree in Healthcare and Healthcare Research. While there, he practiced as a hospitalist and at local pediatric clinics.
The recipient of many awards, Dr. Davis has conducted research on the impact of paternal depression on fathers’ relationships with their children and recently published an article on the effect of depressive symptoms on African-American father/son relationships. He also has an interest in the clinical care of children with special healthcare needs.
