Nelson Chen-Fernandez

Bio

I received the title Doctor of Medicine in 2004 from Universidad de Panama, School of Medicine. I completed two years of internship in Panama, the first year in an inner city hospital, the second year in a rural community. I then developed a strong interest in primary care and patient advocacy which led me to enter a Family Medicine Residency Program in 2007. In July 2010, I completed the specialty of Family Medicine at St Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware and was Board Certified in September 2010. My purpose is to achieve quality, evidence-based healthcare to all our patients
