NavYash Gupta, M.D. is the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Dr. Gupta received his undergraduate education at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry in 1987. He attended Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating with an MD in 1991. He then completed a surgical internship and residency in General Surgery at St Louis University Hospitals in St. Louis Missouri. Following an additional Research Fellowship year at St. Louis University he pursued his Vascular Surgery Fellowship training at the University of Chicago Hospitals (1997-1998). Dr. Gupta served as Assistant Professor of Surgery on the surgical faculty at the University of Pittsburgh for 9 years prior to accepting his current position. In June of 2009 Dr. Gupta joined NorthShore University HealthSystem as Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and Director of the Vascular Laboratories.
