Mike McIlwain

Bio

Dr. Mike McIlwain grew up in Tampa along with his 5 sisters and brother.   He is married to Cristina Yarnoz McIlwain, a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law . They have a growing family of daughters, Ella and Lucia and son, Grayson. They also have 2 Labrador Retrievers.

Dr. Mike attended and played soccer at the University of Maryland, then went on to dental school and his pediatric dental training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has extensive training in sedation and general anesthesia procedures. Dr. Mike has a private practice ( mcilwaindentistry.com ) in tampa with his uncle and cousins. He is a team member of St. Joseph's Hospital Children's Craniofacial Team.  He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Hillsborough County Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Society.
