Bio
May M. Wakamatsu, M.D., directs the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery service at Massachusetts General Hospital and is an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wakamatsu earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in biology at Occidental College in Los Angeles, and her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Wakamatsu is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. In her practice, Dr. Wakamatsu evaluates and treats women with bladder control problems, pelvic organ prolapse, and other conditions.
