Bio
Manuel B. Torres, M.D., is a family practice physician at the Baptist Health Medical Group, a network of more than 100 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Torres has a special interest in practicing evidence-based medicine to promote healthy living and focus on the quality of his patients' lives. He believes that preventive medicine is the best medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and received his Doctorate of Medicine at the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Torres has served on the medical staff at South Miami Hospital, Baptist Hospital of Miami and Kendall Regional Hospital. He is currently affiliated with both Baptist Hospital of Miami and West Kendall Baptist Hospital. He is also associated with the American Board of Family Practice; American Academy of Family Practice; Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo; and University of Miami Hurricane Club.
