Bio

Dr. Lisa Ishii, MD, MHS, is an assistant professor of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a facial plastic surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. The Department has been ranked the #1 ear nose and throat program in the United States for 13 years in a row by US News and World Report. Dr. Ishii’s practice is unique because of her expertise in hair restoration for men and women. She offers hair transplantation for male and female pattern baldness, as well as for scars of the scalp, eyebrows, and face.

Dr. Ishii is the first facial plastic surgeon to have received a prestigious National Institutes of Health K12 Award to pursue research in facial plastic surgery. As part of this award, Dr. Ishii had the privilege to pursue a Master of Health Sciences degree at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the #1 school of public health in the country. She is applying the research skills she acquired to her clinical practice to identify the best techniques in facial plastic surgery. 

Her clinical practice encompasses hair transplantation for women and men, rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive facial augmentation.
