Dr. Clarissa Agee Shavers, D. N. Sc. is the Principal Investigator and Program Director of The Safer Tomorrows: Injury Prevention and Violence Reduction Project© of the United States of America, Canada, and West Indies Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago located at the headquarters of the Primary Care Office on the east side of Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Shavers' has a Doctorate in Nursing Science, is a TRECOS Fellow (Training Researchers in Community-based Settings) and a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan. Also, Dr. Shavers’ holds Post Doctoral Certificates in Clinical Nursing Research and Epidemiology.
