Dr. Catrambone is an Assistant Professor at Rush University College of Nursing and teaches in the PhD and DNP programs with an emphasis on leadership development and outcomes management. Her research focus is asthma surveillance and asthma management and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and national/international presentations in this area. Funded by the IDPH, she is leading a statewide Emergency Department initiative to promote asthma care in alignment with national guidelines. She is an active leader and advocate of lung health in Illinois. She continues to serve on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and is President of the Nursing Assembly of the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. She is on the Board of Directors of Sigma Theta Tau International and chair of the Regional Chapter Coordinating Committee that provides support to chapter leaders in over 470 chapters worldwide. She founded and leads the Past President’s Council for Shared Governance at Rush University.
