Dr. Carlos Guerra is a Salt Lake City family doctor. He practices at Intermountain Healthcare's Medical Tower Family Practice located in Murray, Utah. He has a particular interest in young families, women's health care, and the local Latino population. He is also interested in treating those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia.
Dr. Guerra attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his residency in
Family Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
He has spent the last 14 years practicing medicine in downtown Salt Lake City. At his previous practice, he cared for underserved patients including uninsured and Spanish speakers.
He is experienced in all aspects of family medicine, providing care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. He has served as volunteer faculty at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, supervising resident physicians and medical and physician assistant students.
