Arif Dalvi, MD, MBA, is the Director of the Movement Disorders Program at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.  He is a board certified neurologist with fellowship training in Parkinson's disease from Columbia University. His clinical and research interests include surgical treatment of Parkinson's disease. He has been working for over 15 years in areas that include deep brain stimulation (the brain pacemaker) and nerve growth factors for Parkinson's disease. He has also worked on clinical trials for many of the recently FDA approved drugs for Parkinson's disease and on the study of genetic factors in Parkinson's disease. Dr. Dalvi is a member of the international Parkinson's Study Group has been awarded a Doctor of Excellence Award by the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.
