Bio

Amir Bastawrous, M.D., MBA is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon at the Swedish Colon and Rectal Clinic. He cares for patients with colon, rectal and anal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease and benign anorectal diseases. Dr. Bastawrous believes in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care in which the patient, health care professionals and support personnel work together for the efficient and optimal care of the patent. He performs both traditional and minimally invasive surgeries, including robot-assisted colorectal procedures. His primary goal for each patient he treats is to identify the problem and  treat them in an efficient and compassionate manner that is both time sensitive and resource sensitive.
