Dr. Aaron Schwartz, DDS

Bio

I absolutely love my job as a pediatric dentist. With my public health knowledge, I find it my duty to not only thoughtfully spend time with my patients and patient's parents discussing aspects of prevention, but also to spend time holding school health seminars at schools across the community. I take my job very seriously, and take PREVENTIVE ORAL HEALTH very seriously.
I moved to the Atlanta area after living in NYC, where I was completing my dental education at Columbia University, my Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, and my Masters in Public Health at New Jersey Medical School.
I live in the city of Atlanta with my wife, Thea, and my cat, Pearl, and we love to cook, spend time with friends, and ride bikes through the beautiful parks in our community.  I can be found in private practice at Schwartz Dentistry for Children on the border of Smyrna and Marietta, Georgia.  WWW.SchwartzKidsDentistry.com

How should I brush my teeth if I have braces?

Brush in CIRCLES, alternating the tooth brush bristles pointing up and down at a 45 degree angle. For any person in braces, children or adults, one should be brushing at least 3 times a day after every meal.

Also, electronic toothbrushes do a better job cleaning food/plaque off of braces. I typically
