Douglas Splittgerber

Bio

Doug Splittgerber has been a Professional Trainer for over 30 years.  He was a member of the teaching faculty at the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Chicago for six years, responsible for teaching new trainers anatomy, biomechanics and proper exercise performance.  He has held advanced training certifications through Memphis State University and the University of Florida.  Doug also spend 22 years as a successful competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter and 10 years as owner/operator of 5 fitness facilities with a staff of 65 trainers and instructors.  Doug is married to a Physical Therapist and works with her in their own business giving Doug an exceptional knowledge base when dealing with joint and back issues.  They are co-authors of the book, Your Body, Your Responsibility.
