Bio
Dinisha Rogers is a public health dietitian practicing just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Infant and child nutrition have remained her focus in the field of dietetics. It was through her career in public health that she discovered her passion for helping new moms and babies to successfully breastfeed. In 2007, Rogers became a Certified Lactation Counselor and then advanced to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2010. Most recently she has completed the American Dietetic Association’s Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.
Rogers tries to “practice what she preaches” by cooking healthful meals for her family and staying active. Her favorite activities are yoga, cycling, and she has a new fondness for trail running. However, her most cherished form of physical activity is playing with her toddler daughter (i.e. kicking a ball around, game of chase, dancing or even “wrestling”).
