    1. Tammy Davidson I love the food logging. It is really easy just guess at how many cups or ounces. You will see just how much calories you put in. Walking/jogging is a real good thing to do to help loose weight. Please try the food log it is a little frustrating at first but it gets easier once you realize to watch your portions as well as what you eat.

    1. Tammy Davidson Try Truvia for sweetener I love it it has 0 calories and tastes just like sugar without atificials.

    2. Ellie Hanson I actually follow a food plan where I don't eat any food that has sugar in the first four ingredients. I also try to avoid artificial sweeteners, although I cave and drink Crystal Light singles in my water a lot. But most other things I sweeten with stevia. I buy the liquid kind, which dissolves better in cold liquids. I also don't eat anything with flour in it -- including whole grain flour. If it's ground that fine, my system will metabolize it too quickly, just like sugar.

What I have found is that after eating this way for a few days to two weeks, I completely lose the desire for sweets, breads, pasta, etc. Furthermore, it becomes much easier to control my desire for oversize quantities of food. I may still want them sometimes, but I feel like I have a choice, not like it's a gnawing gotta-have-it craving. I can tell you more about the program I'm on if you're interested.
