Bio

I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach by profession and have enjoyed a life-long commitment to health and fitness. Six years ago I was a VP at Hewlett-Packard Co and decided I wanted to leave the Corporate world and do something very different. I took early retirement and turned my passion for Fitness Training into a vocation targeting high school and younger athletes. I currently coach strength and conditioning at Sacramento High School and am a Personal Trainer for a small but growing list of clients. I am also the Director and one of the coaches for the most successful Junior Weightlifting Team on the West coast, Hassle Free Barbell Club.

I am certified in a number of methodologies including NASM, Crossfit, and USA Weightlifting. While I spend 60-70% of my consulting time with young athletes, I am experienced and have had great success with older clients looking for general fitness advice and programming.

My expertise goes beyond the X's & O's of fitness training and includes the skills necessary to keep you motivated and progressing toward your goals. As a business manager with 30 years experience coaching and counseling up and down and sideways across a complex organization, I feel well equipped to lead you to success. However you define it.
