Darlene Martin, RN, BSN, CDE is a certified diabetes educator at Twin Cities Hospital, Niceville, Florida. She provides education in the both the outpatient and inpatient setting. She is also a certified insulin pump trainer and certified continuous glucose monitor trainer. She also serves as the coordinator of the hospital’s total knee and hip replacement program. Her background includes serving as a staff nurse and unit coordinator of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit, staff nurse of Progressive Care Unit, and Cardiac Rehab before dedicating her skills to patients with diabetes. Prior to her nursing career she served 15 years in the United States Air Force.
