Dana Friedman, RD, LDN graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science. After completing her internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois – she worked as a Clinical Dietitian at a small, community hospital in Indiana. Upon moving to Chicago, she started working at NorthShore Evanston Hospital in 1995 as a Clinical Dietitian and transitioned into an Outpatient Dietitian after the birth of her daughter. She recently jumped back into a full time position that encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities throughout NorthShore Univeristy HealthSystem. Dana enjoys working with many groups but especially likes working with school-aged children, bariatric surgery patients and the geriatric population.
