I am well-versed in a variety of food and nutrition topics. My M.S. in Clinical Nutrition has prepared me to discuss food and nutrition on a biochemical level, as well as, translating this information to accommodate a variety of health literacy levels. I also enjoy studying food and its wealth of properties, whether it is in the garden, a test-tube, the kitchen, or on my plate.
Additionally, my certification as a personal trainer grants me the ability to confidently discuss exercise prescriptions, physiology, and research in this area.
I am a graduate of Molly Kellogg’s Motivational Interviewing Counseling Intensive, and have obtained the ADA’s Certificate in Adult Weight Management. I apply these skills and abilities, daily, in an ambulatory setting where I assist clientele in achieving a healthier lifestyle.
