Bruce Johnson , NASM Elite Trainer

Bio

As a member of the Baby Boomer generation, Bruce Johnson has seen many of his contemporaries gain weight and start to lose interest in their physical and athletic pursuits as they age. Bruce’s refusal to fall prey to this trap, or line of behavior, coincides with his lifelong enjoyment and hobby of staying physically fit.  His concern for helping other people to “push back the clock” and feel better by having a more active and physically engaged lifestyle led him to pursue a career change to become a personal trainer and lifestyle fitness coach.

Bruce welcomes all types and ages of clients, but Boomers and “Zoomers” are his specialty.  His professional training includes: NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Coach Johnson’s former successful careers include being a high school teacher (and wrestling coach), corporate sales executive, and contractor/ entrepreneur.  Bruce has been happily married for over 35 years and has two lovely daughters.  His hobbies include hiking, sailing and motorcycling.

Being self-employed for the past 15 years, Bruce feels that one of the keys to being successful in life is one’s ability to CHANGE.  By opening yourself to change, as far as fitness is concerned, Bruce will use the excellent tools of HFPN together with the exceptional training models of NASM to guide you through your personal journey to improving your health & fitness.
