I've actually been very aware of sodium. I rarely use it instead Mrs. Dash has moved into our spice cabinet, I buy low sodium products, and never frozen foods except fruits and vegetables. At Trader Joe's we were buying no salt chips for our salsa and a gentleman made the comment "This is what I have to look forward to." You don't have to be "seasoned" to take care of your body. But, in all honesty if my husband had not had his heart attack we would still be overweight and slugglish.

That's great to hear that you are cutting out soda and hydrogenated oils. One thing I recommend watching is sodium intake. Consuming a high amount of sodium will cause some water weight gain and also affect you midsection. Try to stay around 2400mg or less each day. Keep up the hard work!
