Married, 4 grown children and 1 grand-daughter, 1 grand-son, soon will be 53 yrs old, trying to eat healthier and exercise everyday. Love the outdoors, biking, hiking, walking. Love to make beautiful quilts. Since starting this program 1/7/11 I've lost 13 lbs as of 4/23/11. I've lost 23 as of 5/31/11. I'm at 28.5 lbs lost 6/19/11. Thats not much, but it is when you are only 5'3". Worked my way up to walking 6 days a week for 1hr. Making friends and connection with others that have the same goal in mind. Been pretty healthy all my life and yo yo dieting in there too. Weight watchers worked for me for a while but wanted to do something that wouldn't cost me for the rest of my life. If Sharecare goes to charging I will have to see what the charge is first before deciding what to do. I'm the only one that works, my husband is disabled, has been now for over 12 yrs and has had alot of major surgeries that has left us with lots of bills to pay. Part of why I chose this challenge because it was free and would hopefully give me the knowledge to continue when it was over. Great success to all that are participating in the program! Update- it's 1/2013 and I am still maintaining my weight loss. Try to get in 3 hrs of walking a week. Need to focus on walking and exercising.
