I come from a family of physicians – surgeons, OBs, psychiatrists and more – so issues of health and wellness have colored my life for as long as I can remember. Through my family, I have also picked up on the need for people to live differently in order to change their health for the better.
I believe this is why the information provided by Sharecare and SharecareNow, powered by WCG, is vital to the evolution of personal health in our country. Better health and wellness information will lead to better decision-making and lifestyle choices ... and by extension, a healthier nation.
Today I work at WCG, helping healthcare companies understand digital landscapes, utilize social media, better communicate with consumers, and provide relevant, actionable information.
NOTE: My family continues to speak to me, even though I chose not to become a physician.
