Beef Stew
Make this hearty stew from Transformation National finalist Karl Neilsen for a hearty but satisfying weeknight family supper.
Ingredients
- 1/5 pound of 90% lean ground beef, rolled into tiny balls
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 1/2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup green cabbage
- 1 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dried basil
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Pinch of oregano
Preparation
In a large pot, brown meatballs in oil. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
