    Dr. Mehmet Oz answered:
Many health insurance policies will pay for erectile dysfunction treatments. Find out if yours does by contacting them directly. There is often a copay, which means that you'll have some out-of-pocket costs. If you have a prescription drug plan with your insurance company, or Medicare, you pay for drugs on a tier system. That means they will pay a different amount for generics, a preferred brand name, or a nonpreferred brand name. Sometimes they will not pay anything at all.

Your health insurance plan will probably pay for some kinds of erectile dysfunction (ED) diagnosis and treatment. If you have a prescription drug plan, it will probably pay for a limited number of ED drug doses each month. Check with the customer service department of your health insurance company to find out if ED medications are covered and the number of pills you can get each month.
