Why is setting health goals important?

    Setting goals helps us focus on what we'd like to change and what needs to be done to achieve it.  Goals should be time specific and measurable.  If your goal is to eat 3 pieces of fruit every day this week you can easily tell if you have achieved this versus "I'll eat more fruit" which is hard to monitor.
