As thyroid's become deficient, as they are in the majority of people, the gland grows more tissue in an attempt to compensate for the deficiency. Thus, nodules develop.

D3 is actually a HORMONE that regulates our immune system and replacement can improve the immune system, but most likely not the nodules as there are other factors at work.

The immune system antibodies that attack the thyroid are often caused by toxic cross reactivity. As the body is detoxified, and D3 and other important hormones and nutrients restored, the antibodies diminish.

We see this effect most often in New Medicine natural treatment.

Thyroid nodules are growths in the thyroid. Nodules are quite common and occur in 15-30% of the US population. Similarly to many other thyroid conditions, thyroid nodules are more common in women than in men due to the differing levels of hormone production in the body.
