Children under the age of 6 are at the greatest risk for accidental poisonings. All children are born with a natural curiosity about the world around them. They explore by putting everything into their mouths. As they begin to crawl, walk, and climb, this curiosity increases and so does the risk for poisoning. Don't be taken by surprise. Always ask your pharmacist for child-resistant caps on medicines.
