Because of its anti-clotting properties, people with a history of internal bleeding should not take Plavix. This applies to anyone with a history of, for example, stomach ulcers, brain hemorrhages, or bleeding disorders such as hemophilia. People with allergies to the ingredients in Plavix should not take the medication.
