    Do not take magnesium gluconate if you have had an allergic reaction to magnesium or are taking vitamins, tetracycline, or drugs that contain magnesium. Talk to your doctor before taking magnesium gluconate if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive. If you have heart or kidney disease, consult your doctor before you use magnesium gluconate.
