Dr. Joel Fuhrman answered:Avoid eating swordfish, mackerel, tilefish, and shark. They contain the highest mercury levels. Be aware of the place where it was caught and what type of fish it is. Never accept recreational fish from questionable waters, and never eat high-mercury content fish. It is not worth the risk.
